De dwa da des nye>s is delivering their inaugural Indigenous Health Research and Health Practice Conference in Hamilton, Ontario on October 17 & 18, 2017. This is an exciting time to bring the work forward by Indigenous communities and researchers towards understanding the current state of Indigenous Health both from a scientific and practice model.

It is an opportunity to look to the Calls for Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Report and note the steps made towards improving the health status of Indigenous people in Canada.

Abstract Streams:

We have used the four quadrants of the Medicine Wheel as the themes for the conference: Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual.
