About the Event

“ONE NORTHERN ECONOMY” The Energy and Forestry Expo is a 2 day networking conference that will focus on strengthening and building Northern Ontario and Aboriginal capacity for economic prosperity in the Energy and Forestry Sectors.   In Ontario, where the hydro rates are unaffordable for many communities, businesses, and remote communities, the Energy and Forestry Expo will showcase speakers with knowledge and experience with clean renewable energy options to heat and energize your home and business.   The Expo will feature renewable energy options such as solar, biomass, wind and waterpower to share with the participants.    We will identify paths, funding, and partnerships in assisting business and communities for clean renewable energy products. With its third year of the Forestry Expo the conference topics will focus on communities, industry, First Nation communities, Forest organizations working to build a stronger forest economy. Will have updates on Provincial and organizational programs on funding availability.  The Forestry Expo will feature guest speakers on collaborating for the success of the forest economy in Northern Ontario.
