Your Invitation - Indigenous Engagement and Employment Webinar

Indigenous Works in cooperation with NationTalk is pleased to invite you to a webinar: Getting Started in Indigenous Engagement and Employment: Learning About the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’.

This webinar is being offered on March 22, 2018 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. (eastern) Please RSVP by sending your name and contact numbers to – contactus@Indigenousworks.ca You will receive a link to the webinar when you register. Spaces are limited so please register soon.

This webinar is designed for companies and organizations who have not had the opportunity to develop Indigenous engagement and employment strategies. In this webinar we will introduce you to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and why your company should align with corporate Call to Action # 92, which is directed to companies. Becoming familiar with Call to Action # 92 is part of a process your company can follow to become more engaged with Indigenous people, to develop your engagement strategies and provide the foundation needed to build successful employment practices to recruit, advance and retain Indigenous people at your workplace. Management leaders responsible for human resources, corporate affairs, procurement, corporate social responsibility and employment equity will find this forum to be valuable. There is no cost - just your investment of time, energy and innovation in Indigenous inclusion. If you have questions or want to connect prior to the event please call Kelly Lendsay at 306.291.0424, Craig Hall at 902.665.2257 at Indigenous Works or email Leyla Razeghi (leyla@nationtalk.ca) at NationTalk, the coordinator for this event.
