Rainbow District School Board invites applications for a Permanent Aboriginal Support Worker and a Contract Aboriginal Support Worker (February 2018 to June 29, 2018) to support students in Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin Island schools.
The successful candidate must have experience working with and providing support to students who identify as Indigenous. As well, candidates must have an understanding of working with people who identify as Indigenous and Indigenous communities and culture. Experience with elementary or secondary schools and working with social service agencies. Candidates should have a post secondary diploma in Social Services or related field and must have excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
