The Immigration Programs Branch delivers and promotes the B.C. Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), an immigration program operating under the Canada-BC Immigration Agreement and in accordance with the Provincial Immigration Programs Act.  The PNP allows the Province to attract and retain foreign workers and entrepreneurs for expedited permanent immigration based on B.C.’s labour market and economic development priorities.

The Marketing Coordinator coordinates and supports marketing activities, domestic and international outreach events, and other marketing initiatives for the Program Management and Planning unit to advance the Provincial Nominee Program in both domestic and international markets.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• At least two years work experience in each of the following areas:
– providing project management and marketing coordination services for outreach events and activities.
– coordinating communications materials and initiatives.
• At least one year work experience in each of the following areas:
– collecting and analyzing marketing and event information and preparing associated reports.
– planning and organizing videoconferences and webinars.
• Proficient use of a variety of standard computer applications (e.g. MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook) as well as social media tools.
• Preference may be given to applicants who have completed post-secondary courses or formal training related to Marketing.
• Preference may be given to applicants who have experience working in a program area related to labour market or immigration.
