The Student Certification Branch works closely with Boards of Education, Independent School Authorities, Offshore Schools, the Yukon Department of Education, post-secondary institutions and other education sector organizations in supporting student transitions to post-secondary education, training programs and/or the workforce. The Branch is responsible for the administration of the graduation program, administration of provincial scholarships, bursaries and awards, including the Provincial Scholarships Program and the BC Training and Education Savings Grant. In addition, the Branch is responsible for data collection, reporting examination results, certifying BC secondary school graduates and issuing transcripts.
Coordinates and administers provincial scholarships and awards that are overseen by the Ministry of Education, including the BC Provincial Scholarships Program

Job Requirements: In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
Degree or certificate in business administration, public administration or a related field and a minimum of two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two years’ experience providing support and services to the public.
Minimum of one year experience resolving confidential and sensitive issues.
Experience working in a team that oversees a complex administration program with multiple priorities and timelines.
Experience with business applications including user support, data integrity, administrative functions and troubleshooting.
Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and policy in complex situations.
