The Business Application Advisor represents the program area in the design, development, and ongoing implementation, enhancement and maintenance of business applications in order to meet current and future Child Care business needs. You will determine how business applications can be integrated into program operations by conducting business process reviews including workflow analyses and redesign, to identify and influence changes and improvements required.  In addition, you will  review changes to legislation, regulations and policies to determine impacts, and develops or leads the development of new and amended business processes, procedures and systems changes and  collaborate with stakeholders to identify issues and create solutions; plan and design enhancements. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, capable of managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines and thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment. Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • A Diploma in public or business administration, IT, or program related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  *Amended*
  • At least 2 years of experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders on business process change involving automation.
  • At least 3 years of experience with business applications including implementation planning and testing, security and the development of analytical reports.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the Public Sector.
