The Digital Investment Office (DIO), on behalf of the Deputy Ministers’ IM/IT Capital Investment Board and the Government Chief Information Officer (GCIO), has the responsibility for all government’s IM/IT capital investments. The DIO is also responsible for prioritizing government’s IM/IT investments from a total cost of ownership perspective and maximizing the lifecycle value government derives from its IM/IT investments.

The Senior Analyst, Digital Investment will provide leadership and recommendations on optimization of government’s IM/IT investments and application management. To lead best practice research and analysis, ensure timely and accurate information sharing, support evidence-based decision making, and build collaborative partnerships with ministries to provide consistent and effective communication channels between the DIO and various stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree in business administration, public administration, commerce or an equivalent/closed related field and 2 years’ recent (gained in the past 5 years) related experience*.

*Recent, related experience is defined as: (must include all of the following)

  • Experience in research and analysis; linking problems and business processes and recommending solutions.
  • Experience in managing projects and/or project components including experience applying project management principles.
  • Experience in drafting business correspondence, writing reports, and creating presentations for executive management.
