The Ministry of Citizens’ Services performs a dynamic, corporate leadership role in government to support the development of an innovative, modern and robust technology environment; to improve accessible and responsive services and information to citizens; and to provide enabling infrastructure for ministries and the broader public sector to transform how government works on a day-to-day basis.
As a part of the OCIO and the Ministry of Citizen’s Services, the Digital Platforms and Data (DPD) Division provides the structures, conditions and platforms that support government’s digital transformation and continuous improvement of services to citizens. DPD offers a variety of digital and data related programs and services that support a digital government. Within DPD, the Digital Service Office is responsible for the implementation of the Digital Framework for the province and ensuring government services and systems are aligned to industry best practices.
DPD also offers corporate data programs that help government solve problems using data (Data Innovation Program and DataBC), and support cross-government analysis and capacity building (Data Science Partnerships). The division also leads the implementation of the Province’s open data initiative and helps program areas across government connect to tech sector innovation through the Start-Up in Residence program.
To manage large scale projects (medium to long term) with significant external impact, a range of internal and external stakeholders and significant assigned resources. Accountable for defining and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree in business administration, public administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year experience independently managing projects.
- Minimum of one year experience in directing the work of contracted and staff resources.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- A minimum of one year experience using agile methodologies to deliver projects.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and/or Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
