Position Summary :

The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Accounting area, commencing July 1, 2019. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Applicants for the position must meet the minimum qualification of a PhD in Accounting or expected completion of a PhD in Accounting within one year. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching interests in Taxation, Auditing and Information System at the advanced level. Having a professional accounting designation and audit experience would be an asset. In addition to exhibiting the potential for a high level of teaching competence at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, applicants must also demonstrate an interest in conducting quality scholarly research and the ability to publish in high quality academic journals.

The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics has over one hundred full-time faculty and more than five thousand undergraduate and graduate students on campuses in Waterloo and Brantford, and a location in Toronto, Ontario.
