Corporate Services for the Natural Resource Ministries (CSNR) serves the five natural resource ministries (Agriculture; Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources; Environment and Climate Change Strategy; Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development and Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation).
CSNR is unique in that it is one of the largest corporate services organization across the BC public service, led by two ADMs, for approximately 5,500 natural resource ministry employees in over 120 locations throughout the province. These services include all aspects of financial planning, budget management, financial operations, strategic human resources, and facilities and asset management.

The Headquarters Corporate Services Manager leads a team of staff in the daily delivery of a range of corporate services to natural resource sector client groups as assigned.
The position designs specific strategies and actions to meet client’s budgetary, financial and corporate services needs. The manager provides financial guidance and advice to client divisional executive/management teams and is the key contact for corporate service delivery matters for staff within their assigned client group.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree or diploma in: business administration, commerce, public administration, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience. Financial management designation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years (cumulative) within the last 7 years, experience in the supervision of staff, performance management and workload planning.
Minimum 3 years experience in the following:
- Progressive experience in financial management including the oversight of accounting and financial analysis, financial planning, and financial systems and reporting.
- Experience in analysis of complex financial information and business issues and developing new business processes.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients in a customer service environment, monitoring performance standards and maintaining service levels.
- Experience in resolution of complex staff or client issues.
- Experience establishing collaborative relationships with senior client managers.
