The Financial Institutions Commission (FICOM) regulates the financial services and pension sectors in British Columbia. This regulation is designed to protect the public against the insolvency of financial institutions and pension funds, prevent improper market conduct by financial institutions and their intermediaries, and provide deposit insurance for members of BC credit unions.
As the Human Resources Generalist, you will provide program development and advisory services relating to talent acquisition and staffing, individual and team performance, career development, succession planning, employee relations, rewards and recognition, organizational and job design, occupational health and safety, leave management, and compensation/classification.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Four (4) years’ recent experience delivering advisory/consultative services to internal clients on multiple HR programs including performance management, employee relations, talent management and similar programs; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources plus two (2) years’ recent experience delivering advisory/consultative services to internal clients on multiple HR programs including performance management, employee relations, talent management and similar programs.
- Experience creating or improving human resources practices, processes and tools.
- Experience building, analysing and presenting data to inform leaders’ decision making regarding HR investment priorities.
