This position is in the Financial Planning & Reporting Branch of Real Property Division (RPD).  This branch is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting, financial policy, financial systems, revenue and accounts receivable.

The Pricing Analyst works directly with others in RPD to produce the Annual Budget and quarter recovery forecasts in a timely manner. The position is responsible for administering pricing policy when determining building occupancy charges and financial analysis throughout the year.

The Pricing Analyst is directly responsible for administering and applying pricing policy, financial protocol and the framework of RPD’s financial model affecting all levels of government.  Prices are based on current market information and recent activity in the market place. All elements of the process are critical in determining the amount of building occupancy charges and other facilities costs paid by clients.

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Reporting, the Pricing Analyst gathers and analyzes market and other real estate pricing information and calculates and provides internal and external clients with occupancy charges for all Corporate owned, leased and managed space. The Pricing Analyst is required to keep abreast of current industry practices and identifies issues which impact pricing methodology which occur as a result of changes to business practices in the real estate industry.

The division is almost at the last stage of the facilities management procurement process for a new contract to manage its owned, leased and managed facilities throughout the province. This position is required starting in the upcoming year to specifically support the branch in the transition and implementation of a new service contract for Facility Management Services.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • IBM TRIRIGA Facility Management Software (RPD @REAL system) experience required.
  • University degree in accounting, economics, business administration, commerce or equivalent and two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education/training/experience.
  • Experience in the field of real estate financial analysis.
  • Experience in commercial real estate pricing.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in leadership and supervision of staff.
