As a Senior Business Consultant, you provide strategic management consulting to assist clients in the successful delivery of corporate and Ministry business plans and priorities. This is an independent role that requires working with Executives to align their human resources, strategy, structure, systems and processes to their organization’s mandate and business objectives.

You are a masterful communicator and strategic leader of change with demonstrated experience providing Executive-level clients with consulting expertise in organizational effectiveness reviews, organizational design, workload analysis and change management. Highly motivated and innovative, you have the ability and the vision to understand the root cause problems and to manage, coordinate and deliver projects that increase organizational effectiveness.

This challenging role will appeal to those comfortable dealing with complex strategic issues arising in a multi-stakeholder environment. The role requires diplomacy, sound decision-making, and excellent coordination and analytical skills.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

• Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in business administration, human resource management, organizational psychology; or an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Formal training in Change Management and/or experience leading change management initiatives.
• Minimum of two years recent experience leading projects in management consulting or HR, in areas such as organization effectiveness and organization design.
• Demonstrated experience in completing and managing multiple, full-cycle complex projects (i.e. project conception to close-out) in a consulting-based work environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading executive teams through alignment exercises such as the prioritization of efforts and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Experience working with executive and management teams to improve their organizations’ performance including leading consultation sessions, analyzing business challenges, developing and implementing improvement plans and delivering senior level presentations.
