The Provincial Court of BC sits at over 80 locations throughout the province and hears criminal, family, youth, civil, traffic and municipal by-law matters.  The Provincial Court is responsible for the majority of court cases in British Columbia.

The Provincial Court Judiciary is independent of the executive branch of government in accordance with the principles of judicial independence.

The Executive Director of Organizational Services is responsible for the leadership, oversight and strategic direction of organizational services of the Provincial Court Judiciary of British Columbia.

Job Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

Education

  • University Degree in relevant discipline
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline (eg. MBA, MPA) preferred
  • Accounting Designation (CPA) preferred

Experience

  • Min of 10 years’ experience in a senior management role leading organizational/corporate services (Finance, HR, and IT)
  • Experience in strategic and business planning
  • Experience in performance management
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in facilities management
  • Experience in the legal system, court system, or judiciary preferred
  • Experience in a public service or public sector role preferred
  • Experience in a Crown agency preferred
