Under the supervision of the Manager, EGOM, the Bar Supervisor plans, organizes, staffs and directs bar(s) activities and events according to established policies and regulations. She/He organizes and supervises private functions, as required. She/He organizes and supervises mess dinners and military functions, as required. She/He trains and supervises employees. She/He prepares employee work schedules and enter hours into the applicable payroll program, as required. She/He monitors and orders liquor and bar(s’) supplies.
- College diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food Management, or related field AND some years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage sector
- High school diploma AND several years of experience in beverage sector or a related field
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Alberta
- Provincial Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, an asset
- Valid driver’s license (Alberta), an asset
Language requirement: English Essential
