A Career Where YOU Can Make a Difference!

The Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf & Curling Club, formerly the Lancaster Park Golf & Curling Club, is forged with golf and curling tradition.  The golf club was built in the early fifties by many Royal Canadian Air Forces personnel and the curling club started in the sixties at the Griesbach Curling Club.  In 2013, we rebranded our facility in an effort to create a ‘living memorial’ experience for the military personnel posted here on base as well as the many off-base visitors that utilize our facility.  Our mission is to create the best experience at our facility; whether it’s curling, golf, or a dining experience!

The Canadian Forces Morale & Welfare Services is an organization committed to enhancing the morale & welfare of the Military community, ultimately contributing to the operational readiness & effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

We are seeking an individual with exceptional customer service skills. He/She must have experience in cash handling and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate would have 4-6 months bartending experience. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Good communication skills are essential. Experience working at a golf course will be considered an asset.

As part of our team, you would display the following shared competencies: Client Service, Organizational Knowledge, Communication, Innovation, Teamwork and Leadership.
  • Dedicated programs including new employee orientation program and on-the-job training
  • Facilities on base available to employees (i.e. Golf Course, Driving Range, Fitness facility, Swimming pool, etc)
  • Shop at CANEX- option for ‘no interest’ credit plan
