Lettieri Espresso Bar & Café is an Italian style coffee shop located inside the busy mall of Bayville Village in Toronto, ON.  It provides customers with fine European style coffee and eateries such as: traditional Italian Panini, baked good, several type of sweet pastries, and variety of meals.

Job Duties

• Monitor, coordinate the operation of the cafeteria, making sure every procedure follows the standards set by our
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the daily activities of staff who serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for the café and meal preparation.
• Maintain records of stock, wastage, and sales, provide improvement suggestions to manager.
• Set working procedures and make sure they are implemented strictly.
• Provide training to new staff, including operation procedures, food safety, customer service, etc.
• Discuss with manager and plan the appropriate promotion activity each month.
• Discover and respond to customer needs and handle customers complaints. Try to attain and maintain the greatest customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

– College Diploma is required

– Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry, preferably in a hotel or cafeteria setting, 1 year working experience is mandatory, 2 years + is preferable.

– Knowledge of food safety regulations
– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
