Our family lives in Woodbridge, ON and we have two children. We are looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable full-time nanny/caregiver (preferably female) who enjoys being part of a dynamic family and involved with children. The caregiver for our children will be involved in all aspects of our family life. You may be asked to take the kids to the park, do arts and crafts, reading and homework. Cooking skills considered an asset.The job will also include light housekeeping

The job is Monday – Friday approximately 30 to 40 hours per week at $15.72 per hour.  – 1.5 times employee’s regular wage After 44 hours/week

Education: Secondary school graduation certificate; Post-secondary graduation certificate preferable

Credentials: CPR certificate; Driver’s license

Additional skills: Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties; Shop for food and household supplies; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Weight handling: Up to 60 lbs

Work setting: Employer’s home

Specific skills: Tend to emotional well-being of children; Take children to and from school and to appointments; Supervise and care for children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Interact with children in both English and in Spanish (we would like them to learn the language); During warmer months, supervise children in the pool; Prepare infants and children for rest periods
