Child and Youth Mental Health Psychologist

Salary $40.13 – $50.12 hourly 
This position is part-time 

As Child & Youth Mental Health Psychologist you will provide a range of clinical psychological services to children and youth with serious emotional/behavioural disorders by conducting psychological assessments, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention and consultation with community agencies, schools, and hospitals.

This position will provide a broad range of services including psychological and general mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, monitoring and evaluating treatment outcomes and providing psychological consultation/education services to community agency staff and other service providers.
Qualifications for this role include:

  • D. in Clinical Psychology
  • Registered (or in the process of being registered) with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia as a Psychologist
  • Completion of a psychological pre-or post-doctoral internship of 1600 hours in a child and youth mental health or hospital setting with specialization in formal psychological assessment, diagnoses and treatment of mental health disorders.
  • Experience in clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology
