Community Recreation is responsible for the development, facilitation and efficient management of community and recreation services for CFB Edmonton.
 

The Canadian Forces Morale & Welfare Support is an organization committed to enhancing the morale & welfare of the Military community, ultimately contributing to the operational readiness & effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).

 

We are seeking a safety-sensitive individual that exercises a high degree of discretion, trust, and confidence to properly execute duties efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, but fun rock climbing environment for all users of the facility. He / She will primarily be responsible for conducting climbing wall orientations and client supervision. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have 4 – 6 months related experience such as excuting belaying techniques. Current   CPR, Standard First Aid and Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) Climbing Wall Instructor Certification is required for this position. HIGH FIVE certification will be considered an asset.
