The British Columbia Review Board is an independent quasi-judicial body, established under the Criminal Code of Canada with exclusive jurisdiction to determine whether persons found unfit to stand trial or not criminally responsible on account of mental disorder will be released into the community or held in custody and the conditions for such release or custody.

The Evidence Distribution Coordinator is responsible for organizing and distributing evidentiary information pertaining to hearings before the BC Review Board in accordance with internal policies and legislative requirements under Part XX.1 of the Criminal Code. Staff work very closely with technology and are therefore required to possess excellent computer skills. The Evidence Distribution Coordinator is also cross-trained in the Disposition & Reasons and Intake & Notification Coordinator positions and will shift from one position to another as required. The Registry is an environment characterized by highly sensitive and sometimes high profile case proceedings.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 or more years of clerical/administrative support experience. Preference may be given to applicants with 2 or more years of experience.

Preference may be given to applicants who possess:

  • Experience working in a legal office/court registry environment.
