The Provincial Operations team in MCFD’s Service Delivery Division is responsible for supporting service delivery operations and overseeing the provincial implementation of strategic initiatives across the province. Our team brings together a combination of service delivery experts and technical expertise to lead provincial cross-divisional and cross-ministry work.

The Branch Assistant supports a multi-site and mobile team, staffed by professional, technical and excluded staff. The Branch Assistant maintains a high-level of organization across the branch, maintaining project monitoring and reporting tools, tracking and summarizing project status, and provides regular reports to team members to ensure performance. Responsibilities also include a variety of office administrative, secretarial, human resources, and financial support services for the branch and coordinating the day to day priorities of management, including providing liaison with ministry executive offices.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Secondary school graduation and a certificate in office/public/business administration and/or equivalent administrative experience or post-secondary courses (e.g. public administration, business administration);
  • Experience providing office administration and support services for a diverse group of staff.
  • Experience working in a confidential capacity.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

  • Records management experience, preferably with ARCS/ORCS.
  • Experience with e-Approvals, CLIFF and Government Systems.
  • Applicants who identify as First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit.
