The Ministry of Children and Family Development provides services that support healthy, safe environments where children are connected to their family and community. The ministry delivers the majority of its services locally through contracted agencies as well as through centrally administered provincial programs.
The Branch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating branch office administration functions and communication and engagement for a virtual team across the province. Responsibilities include time and leave management, budget and human resources administration, records and correspondence management, event coordination, meeting support and project management support services including project monitoring and reporting.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing administrative and financial support services for a group of staff.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with financial transactions/activities (e.g. accounts payable, purchasing, petty cash reconciliation, etc.).
- Experience with keyboarding, word processing, spread-sheeting, databases and other standard computer applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience in providing senior administrative support to management.
- Experience with records management.
- Experience in human resources, payroll and leave management.
- Experience working in a virtual environment.
- Experience with project planning, coordination and organization of meetings and events.
- Experience providing project management support services.
