Correspondence Coordinator
Clerk R11

This position will investigate background materials and develop, report, track and coordinate the development of written responses to ministerial and executive correspondence for the signature of the Minister, Deputy Minister, Associate Deputy Minister and other senior executives of the ministry.

Highly organized, you capably prioritize and manage your workload to meet deadlines, using your outstanding eye for detail to ensure all work is carried out to a high standard. You are an effective communicator, able to successfully establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative and good judgment in applying procedures within established policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent, preference may be given to applicants with 1 year or more of formal education in communications, writing or journalism.
  • Experience working in a communications related field, preference may be given to applicants with 1 or more years’ of experience.
  • Experience typing, proofreading and formatting a variety of documents, preference may be given to applicants with 1 or more years’ experience.
  • Extensive experience/training in word processing and other computer applications such as spreadsheets (Excel), email, web software and database.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience handling confidential information
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience using CLIFF and eApprovals.
