An excellent career-building opportunity for a dedicated administrative professional

RoadSafetyBC oversees two remedial programs for drivers who have received alcohol or drug related prohibitions: the Responsible Driver Program (RDP)  and the Ignition Interlock Program (IIP).  The RDP is designed to protect public safety and help drivers to separate their alcohol and/or drug use from their driving. The IIP is designed to protect road users by preventing drivers from operating their vehicles while affected by alcohol, while reinforcing the remedial benefits of the education and counselling programs.

The primary role of an Intake Agent in Remedial Programs is to review cases to make initial determinations or recommendations within established criteria and guidelines. The duties involve providing program information to the public and stakeholders by telephone as well as processing a high volume of documents and data entry in various databases. Intake Agents are responsible for receiving, reviewing and validating incoming submissions and clarifying case information with the public and stakeholders over the phone.
