The Marketing and Communication Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to enhance the COS image by increasing public awareness of the Conservation Officer Service (COS) mandate by pro-actively developing, coordinating, and implementing corporate marketing, communication, and outreach strategies. The position liaises closely with the COS executive and key stakeholders in order to deliver tactical and strategic communication and outreach activities that are in alignment with the COS vision, mission, and goals.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Radio and Television, OR
- Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or Radio and Television plus 2 years of related work experience, OR
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED) plus 4 years of related work experience
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Related experience involving law enforcement
- Experience working with media
- Experience developing and editing communications material (news releases, newsletters, presentations, brochures)
- Experience building communications strategies
- Experience managing social media accounts in a business context
- Experience with website design
- Experience creating and editing videos
- Experience preparing marketing materials
- Experience organizing marketing events.
