Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Front Desk Supervisor, the Recreation Assistant provides counter service such as answering customer inquiries, membership sales and administrative support.   He/She provides operational support and financial information and informs new members of membership requirements and rules. He/She also opens monitors and controls access to the facility in accordance with security regulations and enforces rules concerning dress, conduct, and general use of equipment.
 
Qualifications:
·         High School Diploma AND several years of experience in a related field.
                AND
·         Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications

·         A valid driver’s license (Alberta)

·         HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification and Healthy Minds for Healthy Children Certification

 

Language Requirement: English Mandatory

 

Experience Requirements:

·         In cash handling
·         In children/youth summer camp program development and instruction
·         In providing customer service
 

 

Salary:   $16.40/hr – $17.87/hr
