Community Wellbeing Administration Officer – Fulltime Position


The Community Wellbeing Administration Officer (CWAO) is directly responsible and accountable to the Director of Community Wellbeing and works closely with the programs of Community Wellbeing to collect, maintain and organize financial, quantitative and qualitative data sets in a useful manner for reporting purposes and to support management and leadership in making viable decisions for future planning and delivery of quality services to meet the community needs.  The Community Wellbeing Administration Officer will also coordinate statistical data collection and financial information for the purposes of reporting to various funding agencies.

The CWAO will work with the Director of Community Wellbeing to:

  • Provide support and guidance to all departments within all levels of the organization involved with the accreditation certification recognition process, working at maintaining accreditation status.
  • Work with MBQ committees in the areas of Health and Safety and Accreditation
  • Supervise and coordinate scheduling of all general administrative and custodial staff within CWC on both the Health and Social side
  • Provide reporting and analysis of CWC budgets, including the Accreditation budget

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary graduation from an accredited College or University program in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related program with a minimum 1 year experience working in a health or social program area

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to develop, organize, motivate and coordinate groups
  • Ability to collect and organize data
  • Ability to prepare effective reports and to communicate effectively to various audiences, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff members, public officials and other stakeholders
  • Excellent computer based skills, MSOffice, email, internet
  • High degree of stress management skills, initiative, insight and self-direction
  • Good analytical, discretionary and thinking skills; lateral thinking to prepare for the unexpected outcomes

Other Requirements:

  • Must have a valid “G” Driver’s License, and Clear Driver’s Abstract
  • Must be able to provide clear Vulnerable Sector check
  • Must be able to travel for attendance at meetings, workshops, etc. and able to work flex hours
