The Candidate should be able to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies. Inspect kitchen and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Order supplies and equipment, supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, clean kitchen and work areas, organize and manage buffets and banquets and also manage kitchen operations.
The candidate should know English language, should be a school graduate, with minimum 3 years experience, have a criminal record check. He should be able to work in a fast paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, work under pressure with attention to detail. He should have excellent oral communication, judgment, flexibility, organized, be a team player, initiative, client focus, dependable and reliable, willing to relocate. Relocation cost will be covered by the employer. Cuisine specialties required are East Indian and Vegetarian, and work setting are Restaurant and Catering.
