Position Summary :

This course is designed to give students an opportunity to develop new skills via hands-on learning as well as a chance for practical application of skills learned throughout the program. The course prepares students to carry out research projects for diverse community partners from the public, non-profit or private sector. Course content covers the context, processes, challenges and policy approaches of the relevant sector(s). Then, in consultation with the community partner, students will use the research design and methodological tools learned in the Master of Applied Politics to develop and carry out the project.

QualificationsRequired :Master’s Degree
QualificationsDiscipline :Political Science or related discipline
QualificationsOther :Experience with community service learning and/or working with community organizations; a range of research skills, as well as the ability and willingness to supervise student research projects.
