Salary: $17.50 / Hour for 40 Hours / Week

Job requirements:
Languages: English

Education: Secondar y (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years preferably in South Indian Cuisine

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Attention to detail

Work Location Information: Urban area

Additional Skills: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Specific Skills:
· Prepare all kind of South Indian dishes items as per menu like Sambar, All kind of Currys and greavy, Vada,iIdli, Appam,Biryani(Calicut) etc.;
· Capable to make Dosa, Uttapam, Parotha and other south Indian Snacks;
· Good knowledge of south Indian dishes and gravies;
· Inspect kitchens and food service areas;
· Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
· Supervise kitchen staff and helpers;
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
· Clean your work area and perform other duties as required;
· Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils;
· Work with specialized cooking equipment;
· Work with minimal supervision;
· Organize and manage buffets and catering.
