Job Description

Subway Sandwiches located at 8850 Walnut Grove, Langley, BC is looking for a full-time Food Service Supervisor for their location.

Terms of Employment:

Permanent, Full-time, Day and Evening Shifts. Flexible to work closing shifts and weekend shifts.

Number of Hours: 35 hours per week, over time to start after 40 hours a week.

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule staff activities who prepare, portion and serve food.
  • Supervise food preparation to ensure that food safety and operation standards are maintained.
  • Ensure all quality controls are met for all productions and services delivered to the customers.
  • Maintain inventory control and minimize product waste to ensure budgetary and cost controls are met.
  • Direct the staff members to ensure that food safety, production preparation and cleanliness standards are maintained.
  • Maintain the standards of the restaurants safety and security.
  • Recruit and train new staff members on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures and provide ongoing coaching and training.
  • Respond to customer issues and requests to ensure excellence in customer service is being provided.
  • Organize the daily closing activities for the store, including cleaning, dishwashing, food storage, etc.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary School is required.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience is required.
  • Strong communication and Decision Making Power
