Job Title: Framer Helper

Number of Vacancies: 2

Location of work: Job requires on-site at various job sites within the lower mainland.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week.

Compensation: $23 per hour

Benefits: As per BC employment standards

Key duties:

• Load and unload construction materials and take them to the job site,
• Move tools, and equipment from storage to the job site;
• Assist framer with forming and framing related work;
• Help put up, level, and install the building framework
• Remove rubble and clean work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain clean and safe job sites
• Perform other related job duties as required

Job requirements:

. Some experience as a laborer will be an asset but not mandatory, training provided on-site.

Language: Basic English required

Work conditions:

• Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, a combination of sitting, standing and walking
• Able to work long hours, weekends, and outdoors in various weather conditions
