1. Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
2. Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
3. Confers with the chief executive officer to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
4. Coordinate work between various departments of the company.
5. Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
6. Analyze past and current performance and recommend objectives to improve productivity and profitability.
