Canline Pipeline Solutions (Gazelle Group of companies) are seeking a Permanent Full Time, Heavy Equipment Construction Supervisor (NOC 7302) to join our team, working at various sites within Alberta.

Permanent Full Time Position

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Number of positions 1

Employment hours 40 hours, on call, overtime, weekend, day.

Work Setting: Petroleum and natural gas pipeline company.

Applicants must be:

Be Fluent in English. (Written and verbal)

Have completed Secondary School.

Must possess class 1 driving license.

Minimum of 3 years proven Foreman work experience in Heavy Equipment Operation in pipeline gas and oil is desirable.

Supervise crew of 6 to 15 people

Applicant must be able to operate and supervise the running of heavy equipment including excavators, track machines, and pipeline pulling units.

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers

Train or arrange for training of workers

Recommend personnel actions for hiring and promotions

Prepare production and other reports

Must be certified in use of Flexpipe Systems and possess HDPE Butt Fusion and Electro Fusion Ticket to complete and projects and train workers.

Manage the operations of company

Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.

Supervise and operate construction, paving, drilling, railway maintenance and other similar heavy equipment

Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers

Requisition materials and supplies

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.

Drug Test, Medical exam and Driver abstract required.
$35.00 per hour (over time paid as per labour & employment rules)
