The Human Rights Legal Support Centre is seeking applications for an upcoming opening for a Human Rights Representative (HRR) – Indigenous designated position. The successful candidate will have human rights expertise, experience with drafting and filing HRTO applications, may be required to conduct client interviews at the mediation stage and provide legal representation at mediation. The person filling this position will be part of a special staff team providing legal services to Indigenous members of the public who have experienced discrimination. Knowledge and familiarity with legal issues facing Indigenous people in Ontario, including discrimination, will be an asset. This position is a 12 month temporary position and is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit. This position will be located in Toronto or in the London area. The annual salary starts at $52,000.
