Image Producer (casual) for FPR Radio

FPR (First Peoples Radio) is looking for a (casual) Image Producer who will be responsible for distinguishing FPR favorably through unique and enhanced image and sound for Toronto and Ottawa FM stations.  Both are new FM stations launching April 2018.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops unique station soundscapes and imaging;
  • Researches production libraries for imaging ideas;
  • In collaboration with the Operations Manager, develops the launch sound campaign and all station ID’s for Toronto and Ottawa;
  • Works independently from home studio;
  • Works closely and communicates with Toronto/Ottawa film production studios and talent;
  • Prepares weekly updates on new image spots for approval into the station’s system;
  • Monitors contemporary stations competing in the 25 to 54 demographic to assess their imaging;
  • May assist Operations Manager with specific campaigns for FPR clients.

Requirements & Experience

  • A degree /diploma in a relevant discipline and 5 – 7 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional experience using ProTools production software
  • Experience with an Indigenous organization and culture is an asset
  • Proficiency with Internet, E-mail and other business related computer software is required
