We are looking for a patient focused team player to fill an Intensive Care Step Down Nursing opportunity that we have within our team here at Kelowna General Hospital.

Kelowna General Hospital’s ICU Step-Down department consists of 8 beds which act as an intermediate ICU with a strong surgical focus.

Our department provides an exceptional professional environment for critical care nursing and our nurses have excellent clinical and communication skills, high commitment of professionalism and commitment as team players. Qualifications
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the
British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

Advanced preparation in a critical care clinical specialty or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 3 years.
