Provincial Treasury is responsible for managing the province’s banking and cash requirements, borrowing and financing needs, and providing insurance and risk management services to the broader public sector.
The Information Systems Branch within Provincial Treasury directly develops, manages, and supports a variety of applications, systems, and information technology in the four branches: Corporate Operations, Banking & Cash Management, Debt Management, and Risk Management and Government Security Office.
The Programmer Analyst reports to the Senior Business Consultant and is responsible for providing analytical and programming support for the development, maintenance and enhancement of business applications. This position also, provides operational, production, and application level support.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- A degree in computing technology with three years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in supporting a multi-tier architecture and web based applications in a corporate production environment
- Experience working in small to medium-sized teams on complex applications, with different combinations of team members and roles.
Preferred technical experience:
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Apache/Tomcat & IIS web servers.
- Experience with Web technologies including HTML5, ASP/JSP, and SFTP/FTPS.
- Experience on Windows or UNIX servers, networking and authentication services.
- Experience developing and documenting technical specifications, designing and maintaining data models and working within an enterprise architecture.
