This position resides in GCPE’s Government Digital Experience Division, and reports to an excluded manager or senior level bargaining unit supervisor. This position is responsible for ensuring applications released from development to production have been built to acceptable quality standards, and that the releases will have minimal negative impact to the production environments.

The Quality Assurance Analyst plans and manages solutions across multiple platforms, program areas and a variety of systems environments, including configuration, installation and integration services, to ensure that negative impacts of implementing and integrating change (such as development projects, routine regression testing, bug fixes and upgrade testing) are identified, prioritized and risk assessed on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree, diploma or certificate in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with automated testing software (e.g. Selenium, Microsoft Test Manager);
  • Experience providing quality assurance on Java and .net based applications;
  • Experience providing quality assurance on web services and APIs interacting with relational databases; and,
  • Experience providing quality assurance for enterprise-class web-based software solutions.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with lengthier experience in the statements above.
