There is currently one permanent opportunity available, and one 1 year temporary opportunity available, and can be performed from Victoria or Coquitlam.

This position will provide project management services and plan ongoing business and technology needs consistent with government and ministry strategic plans, system standards and interfacing requirements. Provides expert advice to senior staff and leads multiple project teams.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree in computer science field or business or equivalent and three years related experience*; OR Diploma in computer science field or business or equivalent and five years related experience*; OR Secondary school graduation or equivalent and seven years of related experience*.
  • *Related experience must include all of the following:
    • Experience managing information technology projects or leading a component (e.g., sub-project) of a major project
    • Experience providing business analysis on projects.
    • Experience in project management methodologies.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience in change management processes
  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience in the supervision of staff (e.g. allocating work, training staff, appraising performance, etc.)
  • Preference may be given to applicants with a designation as a Project Management Professional, or equivalent
