The Information Systems Branch is responsible for providing strategic IM/IT leadership for the Justice and Public Safety Sector, and for the provision of IM/IT services to support our sector program areas and stakeholders. The branch includes four divisions: MCIO Division, Client Services Division, IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division and the Strategic Initiatives Division.
The IT Security, Privacy & Operations Division (ITSPO) is responsible for oversight and maintaining a stable, secure, and efficient operational environment for our sector clients and their business applications. Key services include information security and privacy, infrastructure support, liaison with central agencies and a Service Desk that supports sector staff and our broader stakeholders.
This position is a member of the Middle Tier Infrastructure team in the Operations work unit in the ITSPO Division. The Operations work unit consists of four teams: Service Transition, Middle Tier Infrastructure, Database Administration and Data Architecture.
The Senior Mid-Tier Systems Specialist provides mid-tier analysis, development, administration, operational and user support and standards development of complex multi-tier application server infrastructures and ensures integration with underlying operating systems and hosted applications. The position manages multiple environments, performs migration of application components across those environments and establishes and maintains change control procedures for infrastructure technology upgrades and business application software migrations.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree, diploma, or certification in a field related to computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: MS Dynamics (CRM Applications, CRM Architecture and Integration, CRM Configuration and Customization), IIS, Report Services, Windows Server, SQL Server and SharePoint.
- Experience in installing and deploying CRM Organizations.
- Experience in customizing and creating CRM entities.
- Experience with API development and integration and continuous development environments.
- Experience using Jenkins and similar continuous integration technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting, designing, implementing software/hardware and management solutions.
- Experience managing projects and developing action plans.
- Experience documenting infrastructure business processes.
