Government Communications and Public Engagement (GCPE) is a dynamic, progressive organization that supports the government in its ongoing dialogue with British Columbians. GCPE leads and coordinates government communications and public engagement through our four divisions: Corporate Priorities and Communications Operations, Strategic Communications Services, Government Digital Experience Division, and the Deputy Minister’s Office.
The Team Lead, Security Architect designs the architecture of the security infrastructure and related standards and policies. The Team Lead, Security Architect provides authoritative advice regarding application and technology security and potential security risks. This position directs the Ministry and client organizations in developing privacy and security strategies that meet long and short-term strategic plans and program mandates.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field.
- Professional designation as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional or Certified Information Security Manager, or equivalent.
- Experience developing enterprise security architecture in a large, complex organization.
