Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Legislative Library is seeking a knowledgeable, detailed and professional individual for the regular full-time position of Archivist.
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Services and Systems, the Archivist is responsible for the acquisition, treatment, protection, restoration, enhancement and dissemination of the archival collections of the Legislative Library. The Archivist also advises the Legislative Assembly on matters relating to archival collections and archives management.

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in archival studies, information science, library science or related field, and training in the management of archival collections.
