Position Summary
If you are a Practical Nurse who strives to make a difference in people’s lives by caring for them with compassion, dignity and respect, Interior Health has a great opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse in the acute medical team based in 100 Mile House, B.C.

As the Licensed Practical Nurse you will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team performing assessments and planning, implementing and providing personal and nursing care to patients. You will also administer oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity to approximately April 2020, or return of incumbent. Shifts of work are scheduled days, evenings, nights; shift times are: 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
Current full practicing licensure with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Current CPR certification required
Acute care experience is considered an asset
