The purpose of this position is to provide senior professional advisory services, including providing direction to others, within a natural resource program area with a strong focus on agroecology processes and beneficial management practices.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education, experience and professional designation requirement as outlined below:Degree in the natural resource field (i.e. agriculture,
agroecology, plant ecology, ecological restoration or conservation biology) or equivalent as recognized by the relevant association.
- Registered, or immediately eligible for registration, as a fully licensed professional with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists. Immediately eligible to register means you are currently a fully licensed Registered Professional Agrologist member in good standing in another Canadian jurisdiction and can immediately transfer to the relevant BC association.
- Experience in developing, initiating, negotiating and/or mediating solutions for natural resource management with direct application, or linkages, to the agriculture sector.
- Preference may be given to applicants who have minimum 3 years’ related experience in the areas of agriculture, agroecology, plant ecology, ecological restoration and/or conservation biology.
- Valid B.C. driver’s license or equivalent.
Please include your registration number with the British Columbia Institute of Agrologists (BCIA) within your application as you must be registered or immediately eligible for registration as a fully licensed Professional Agrologist (P.Ag.) with the BCIA. If you are not yet registered with the BCIA, please explain how you are immediately eligible (i.e. currently a fully licensed Registered Professional Agrologist member in good standing in another Canadian jurisdiction and can immediately transfer to the BCIA).
