Job Description

ATTI- ACE Trade and Technical Institute mission is to provide our students with the necessary guidance, training and support for a variety of challenging exams in order to ensure that they achieve their certification goals and acquire the in-demand skills that are vitally important for the next step in their career.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist develops and implements a comprehensive marking strategy for the college that results in meeting the enrolment targets of programs and courses. Report to the president, this positon provides direction and support in managing media advertisements and developing marketing materials. This position coordinate work and event participation for the recruiter where appropriate.

Main Responsibilities:

Create and maintain an annual marketing strategy including timeline of marketing activities and key performance indicators; ensure ATTI recruiter attends appropriate community events.
Manage all media advertisements for program promotions and events including contracting with graphic design and photography specialist.
Develop print materials including displays, posters and ATTI brochures and maintain a distribution system to meet need for program promotion.
Coordinate and market internal special events including an annual open house, manage associated budgets.
Create regular ATTI newsletters announcing initiatives, connecting with alumni and coordinate distribution to community contacts.

Qualifications:

Completion of Secondary School is required.
Post-Secondary Education and/or a minimum of 1 year work experience in Customer Service field.
Ability to show initiative and meet deadlines, to organize tasks and work well independently.
Demonstrate superior communication skills (oral, written and presentation) for clear and positive relations with students, staff, other colleges/universities, external agencies, and the general public.
Experience with social media, drafting advertisements, event planning, and relevant computer skills.
Strong interpersonal, team building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Terms:

Evening and weekend work may be expected.

Number of Hours: 35 hours per week, over time to start after 40 hours a week.
