Completion of Secondary School Education is required.
A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration will be an asset.
1 to 2 years experience of having worked in an office based environment in an office administration role, senior clerical or executive secretarial position is required.
Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm in Office Setting
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
- Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
- Carry out administrative activities associated with the day to day running of our business
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services such as relocations, equipment, supplies, log books, forms, company jackets and t-shirts for drivers, parking for staff and parking of trucks in yard space and assist management with the on-site security services at the yard and office address
- Assist management in preparing budgets, maintaining and controlling those budgets and maintain inventory as required in the office at all times
- Collect data and prepare reports and correspondence as required and directed by company management
- Complete general paperwork and daily work tasks which are part of daily work routine and required for the regular day to day operations of the company
Should have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure in an office setting to deadlines as assigned. Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft operating systems is required as our company operates on Windows & Microsoft systems. Also required is a basic knowledge of email use and fax machines.
