is currently looking to fill the following position:

One (1) Full Time High School/Board Secretary

Long Lake #58 First Nation is geographically located on Highway 11 near Longlac, Ontario. Migizi Miigwanan Secondary School, opened in 2013, has approximately 60 students from grades 9 to 12. Staff and students are involved in cultural programming in all areas of the curriculum which can take place daily. The school strives to offer a personalized learning experience to each student including an emphasis on self-expression, the celebration of First Nation culture, conversation and cooperation.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Diploma OR similar Education/Training in the field would be an asset
  • Experience in the field would be an asset
  • Ability to work under supervision and independently
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have access to own vehicle
